The Waterford Crystal World Handball Championships were held in Portland, Oregon the week of October 5th thru the 11th and two MAC members had outstanding playing results.
Norm Young of Lansing played in the 70 and over singles tournament and reached the finals before losing to Ed Grossenbacher of Oregon 21-13, 21-15. In the 70 and over doubles division, Norm teamed with Ed to win the doubles tournament easily. In Norm’s seven singles and doubles matches during the tournament, he faced nine former national champions.

Human Subjects Training Requirement

On December 11, 2006, the IRRC approved a revision to their Human Subjects Training requirement. The length of time for valid certification of Human Subjects Training has changed from one year to two years. At the end of the two-year period, all Investigators and key research personnel will be asked to submit verification of recertification of their Human Subjects Training to the IRB/Research Office.
