MAC Junior Tennis Players Dominate LSJ Dream Team, 11/2/2009
The Michigan high school boy’s tennis season finished recently and the Lansing State Journal came out with their Boy’s Dream Team. Michigan Athletic Club players claimed eight of the ten spots on the team.

Harry Jadun, East Lansing junior, was named player of the year for the second consecutive year. Harry recorded a 32-1 record and won the Division 2 number 1 singles title without losing a set.

Singles players joining Harry on the Dream Team were:
Peter Sienko, Williamston senior, who finished his season 18-2 at number 1 singles. Peter won the Division 4 regional and was the runner-up at the Division 4 state tournament.

Trevor Stoimenoff, Grand Ledge sophomore, went 25-3 at number 1 singles. Trevor was a regional finalist and the only Division 1 entrant at the state tournament.

Paul Heeder, Lansing Catholic sophomore, finished 19-6 at number 1 singles. Paul was runner-up at the Division 4 regional and reached the state semi-finals before losing to the eventual champion.

Doubles players on the Dream Team were:
Alex Salvadori, Okemos senior, went 12-3 at number 1 doubles. Alex and his partner won the Division 2 state championship at number 1 doubles.
Adam Jadun, East Lansing senior, and T.J. Brogan, East Lansing junior, went 18-2 at number 1 doubles. They won the regional tournament and reached the Division 2 state semi-finals before losing.

Ian Sheets, Williamston senior, went 14-1 at number 1 doubles. Ian and his partner won the Division 4 regional and reached the state quarter-final before sustaining their only season loss.
